Role Title | Lead Solution Architect |
Description | The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for the design, validation, and governance of end-to-end technical solutions across enterprise and third-party systems. The architect will ensure that the integration architecture aligns with business requirements, enterprise standards, and performance/security expectations. |
Key Responsibilities | Define and own the solution architecture for multi-system integration projects.
Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Design data flows, integration points, APIs, and communication protocols across systems.
Ensure architectural compliance with security, performance, scalability, and regulatory standards.
Conduct technical reviews and provide architectural governance throughout the development lifecycle.
Provide guidance to developers, DevOps, and testing teams on implementation best practices.
Maintain architecture documentation including solution blueprints, interface specifications, and technical risk logs.
Lead solution design sessions, architecture board reviews, and technical vendor assessments. |
Required Skills and Qualifications | 12+ years of experience in solution architecture across enterprise-scale systems.
Expertise in integration architecture, including APIs, middleware, messaging, and microservices.
Hands-on experience with one or more architecture modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, UML, Visio).
Familiarity with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP), API gateways, CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of non-functional requirements: scalability, availability, latency, and security.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. |
Nice to have | Experience in aviation, airline operations, or IFE system integrations.
Familiarity with REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and enterprise data models. |
