Business Analyst (Healthcare Domain)
Role Overview: The Business Analyst (Healthcare Domain) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between the client healthcare professionals, administrative stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver innovative and efficient systems supporting patient care, human resources (HR), customer relationship management (CRM), and operational processes. This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements to ensure the successful implementation of healthcare IT solutions, The Business Analyst will act as a trusted liaison, translating complex clinical and business needs into actionable technical specifications while ensuring alignment with client strategic objectives, regulatory standards, and patient-centric goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture requirements.
· Analyze existing processes and propose system improvements.
· Create comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use case diagrams, process flow diagrams, and data flow diagrams, ensuring clarity and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
· Work closely with QA to develop test cases, validate system functionality during UAT, and ensure solutions meet documented requirements and user expectations.
· Maintain traceability between business needs and technical implementations.
· Assist in managing requirement changes by assessing impacts, documenting updates, and communicating changes to stakeholders to minimize disruptions and maintain project alignment.
Qualifications:
· 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the healthcare domain or public sector, preferably within UAE or GCC healthcare systems.
· In-depth understanding of EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or local systems like Salama), patient workflows (e.g., triage, diagnosis, discharge), billing processes, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) used in healthcare settings.
· Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations, data privacy standards (e.g., Client Health Data Protection Regulation), and interoperability protocols such as HL7, FHIR, or ICD-10 coding standards.
· Proficient in Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart for creating process flow diagrams and use case models.
· Experience with requirements management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps for documenting and tracking requirements.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
· Willingness to quickly learn and adapt to Client-specific systems, processes, and regulations to deliver tailored solutions.
