1430425 | 19,000 QAR | 12-15yrs | 1 | 12 months | Solace Administrator(integration engineer) | Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, administer, and maintain Solace PubSub+ Event Broker (software, appliance, or cloud). • Perform day-to-day operations including user management, VPN configuration, queues, topics, ACLs, and client profiles. • Monitor Solace brokers for performance, capacity, availability, and fault tolerance. • Troubleshoot and resolve Solace-related issues including connectivity, latency, message loss, and client errors. • Manage HA/DR setups, backup and restore procedures, and disaster recovery testing. • Implement and maintain security best practices (authentication, authorization, certificates, TLS). • Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with minimal downtime. • Collaborate with application, middleware, and DevOps teams for integration and issue resolution. • Create and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and runbooks. • Support CI/CD pipelines and automation using scripting where applicable. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience with Solace PubSub+ Event Broker. • Solid understanding of event-driven architecture (EDA) and messaging concepts (pub/sub, queues, topics). • Experience with Linux/Unix administration. • Knowledge of messaging protocols: SMF, JMS, MQTT, AMQP, REST. • Experience with HA, DR, and clustering concepts. • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, ports, firewalls, load balancers). • Ability to analyze logs, metrics, and dashboards for proactive issue resolution. • Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or similar) is a plus. • Exposure to Kubernetes / Docker environments. • Integration experience with enterprise systems (Red Hat App Foundations etc.). • Solace certification (e.g., Solace Certified Event Broker Administrator) is a plus. |
